Description

Europe has an international network of long-distance cycle touring routes called Eurovelo. It is a network of 17 transnational long-distance routes of more than 80,000 km linking the main European cities. This project is part of the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) and aims to promote quiet and responsible tourism.

The routes are designed to be enjoyed by cyclists, both professional and amateur cyclists, with connections between the towns they pass through and their daily journeys.

The route Eurovelo 1 o Atlantic Coast Route (Atlantic Coast Route)The route, with a total distance of more than 11,000km, covers countries such as Norway, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal.

Eurovelo 1 passes through the Iberian Peninsula at the end of its route, along a large part of the old Via de la Plata (in Extremadura), and ends after the reverse route (from south to north) along the entire Atlantic coast of Portugal.

This experience can be enjoyed by stages of the Eurovelo or even points within the stages. The sections pass through Extremadura and Portugal and will allow you to discover natural spaces and magnificent places in a responsible and sustainable way.

Enjoy an outdoor experience by taking a self-guided tour of Mérida for a day. You will receive a guide with the itinerary, timetables and explanatory route of the monuments to visit. We will give you a picnic to take away and have it in the place of your choice. An activity is also included - depending on the time of year and the traveller's preference - as detailed in the service.

Product information and restrictions

The experience of sport and outdoor activities through the Mérida stage of the Eurovelo 1 crossing through Extremadura and Portugal, in general, includes:

Booking and payment policy

Booking Conditions

- Booking is subject to availability of the activity (More information at terms and conditions)
- During the purchase process, you must let us know your preference in dates in order to book it correctly; or if you prefer, you can contact us previously and after confirmation of the places, make the payment. In this case, you will have a period of 24 hours for payment once availability has been confirmed.
- If during the checkout process you forgot to specify the desired dates, please contact us to generate the reservation according to your interests. It is important that you contact us within 24 hours to check the availability of the desired dates (by chat or email).
- If you have any questions about the purchase and booking process, we can help you by chat or if you prefer by email.

Payment and Reservation / Activation Policy

Payment:

Online payments: via the website, directly on this page, via the online shop.
Accepted methods of payment: Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express) or bank transfer.
Payment by bank transfer: you can send us an email to contact@udestinations.es or fill in the contact us form to send you further details.
Once the purchase has been made by any means, you will be sent an e-mail confirming the purchase and the booking, payment and cancellation conditions and all the information necessary to enjoy the booking and make the most of it. We will also ask you for the details of the person who will use it to make the booking.
If you wish to benefit from an active discount or promotion, we remind you that they cannot be combined with each other.

Reservation:

You can make your reservation by filling in the web form, stating your intention to make a reservation, with the subject "Eurovelo Experience Reservation" at https://www.udestinations.es/contacto or via email to contact@udestinations.esindicating the desired date and contact details (full name, email and phone number to contact and generate personal reservations).
Once we have received your booking request and confirmed availability, we will send you a confirmation email with payment information, which you must complete within 24 hours.

Cancellation and exchange policy

- Booking changes and modifications: contact us at least 3 weeks in advance, as changes are subject to the activity chosen, according to the particular policies of each provider and the change will be subject to availability on the new desired date.
- Cancellation with refund not applicable, according to the change policy established by each provider.
- If the client does not show up, he/she will lose the activity booked without the right to a refund.
- In case of transfer of reservation, please, contact us at least 7 days before the date of entry.

In case of cancellation or modification, uDestinations shall not bear the costs incurred for payments, modifications and cancellations such as transaction costs, issuing, shipping, etc. These costs will be borne by the customer in addition to the penalty that applies in each case.
