The area where the Alqueva Lake is a little-visited area, but with great and very interesting tourist alternatives. We are talking about the largest artificial lake in Western Europe, with a large area of water of more than 250 km² (250 km²).
Such is its dimension that it is possible to do everything from water sports to cruises as if it were "high seas".
Enjoy a 2-hour sailing experience with a picnic of regional products on one of the almost 500 small islands of the Alqueva Lake, which links Spain and Portugal.

- - It is advisable to bring a warm jacket, as the temperature can get cooler during the boat trip.

Booking Conditions
- - Booking is subject to availability of the activity (More information at terms and conditions)
- - During the purchase process, you must let us know your preference in dates in order to book it correctly; or if you prefer, you can contact us beforehand and after confirmation of the places, make the payment. In this case, you will have a period of 24 hours for payment once availability has been confirmed.
- - If during the checkout process you forgot to specify the desired dates, please contact us to generate the reservation according to your interests. It is important that you contact us within 24 hours to check the availability of the desired dates (by chat or email).
- If you have doubts about the purchase and booking process, we can help you by chat or if you prefer by mail.
Payment and Reservation / Activation Policy
Payment:
- - Online payments: via the website, directly on this page, via the online shop.
- - Accepted methods of payment: Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express) or bank transfer.
- - Payment by bank transfer: you can send us an email to contact@udestinations.es or fill in the contact us form to send you further details.
- - Once the purchase has been made by any means, you will be sent an email confirming the purchase and the booking, payment and cancellation conditions and all the information necessary to enjoy the booking and make the most of it. We will also ask you for the details of the person who will use it to make the booking.
- - In case you want to benefit from an active discount or promotion, we remind you that they are not cumulative.
Reservation:
- - You can make your reservation through the web form, stating your intention to book, with the subject "Alqueva Picnic Experience Reservation" at https://www.udestinations.es/contacto or by email to contact@udestinations.es, indicating the desired date and contact details (full name, email and telephone number to contact and generate personal reservations).
- - Once we have received your booking request and confirmed availability, we will send you a confirmation email with payment information, which you must complete within 24 hours.
- - If the date you are interested in is not available, we can rebook you to another date of interest, make a user transfer or refund you, depending on your preferences.
- - For any change or inconvenience, please contact us to help you to solve it.
- - Booking changes and modifications: please contact us at least 3 weeks in advance, as changes are subject to the activity chosen, according to the particular policies of each provider and the change will be subject to availability on the new desired date.
- - Cancellation with refund applicable if made more than 48 hours before the start of the activity.
- - In case of cancellation by the service provider, due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, the amount of the activity will be refunded.
- - If the client does not show up, the activity booked will be forfeited without refund.
- - In case of transfer of booking, please contact us at least 7 days before the arrival date.
- In case of cancellation or modification, uDestinations will not bear the costs incurred for payments, modifications and cancellations such as transaction costs, issuing, shipping, etc. These costs will be borne by the customer in addition to the penalty that applies in each case.
