But if you want to see the cherry trees from the best places, we recommend some viewpoints such as the viewpoint of La Memoria, in El Torno, the viewpoint of Piornal or the viewpoint of Puerto de Tornavacas. In these villages you can discover their traditions and their people, as well as their gastronomy, including, of course, the picota, the cherry with the designation of origin of this area.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a9f728f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a9f728f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If you want to discover this area, we recommend that you book your accommodation well in advance.<\/p><p>If you are visiting the Jerte Valley from Madrid, the quickest way is via the A-5 motorway, but we recommend that you take the route that passes through \u00c1vila because you will be able to cover the whole valley and enjoy beautiful views from the Puerto de Tornavacas pass. If you are coming from the south, from cities such as Seville, the most direct way to get there is via the A-66 motorway, which crosses the whole of the Peninsula.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1e937ac elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1e937ac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"titular\"><strong>Activities in the Jerte Valley<\/strong><\/p>\nSpring is the ideal time to do all kinds of outdoor activities, due to its mild temperatures. During the cherry blossom, you can enjoy many activities and multi-adventure sports such as canyoning, rafting, 4\u00d74 routes, hot air ballooning, trekking, or hiking routes where you can contemplate the cherry tree in a unique and different way.\n\nIf you want to get to know the Jerte Valley in detail, we recommend the Pilones and Garganta de los Infiernos routes, two short and easy routes, suitable even for children.
